Well, I know I was going to start a contest about a year ago... but... er.. It wasn't my fault... I ran out of gas. I, I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locusts. IT WASN'T MY FAULT, I SWEAR TO GOD!

Now that I've justly defended myself here's a few concepts I'm floating around.
So tell which you like the best, if there's anything that I can improve on and which you'd most likely enter.

Contest Idea

1. Title "Whats coming out of the cave?"
   An already drawn image (by me of course) I wont describe it in full, but you
   may be surprised to know that there will be a cave in it. This is where you come
   into play... you draw the whats coming out of the cave (clever title isn't?) and
   thats all you need to draw. The part that I'm gonna draw will be just black n'
   white line, so I'm thinking points for creativity and extra points for colouring
   it in.

2. "Create your own feles"
   As the title states, you'll create your own custom feles.

3. "Visualize the scene"
   I'll give you a little story and describe a scene, you then interprete it into
   a drawing.

Well theirs the options... have a think and tell me what you think...
"i don't care which one is chosen... wot are the prizes?" I hear you scream, foaming at the mouth. well, as of yet, i'm yet to decide, but there will be prizes. So don't worry, I will reward you for your efforts.

While various things have been happening and lots of here, there and everywhere, unfortunately deviant art has been last on my list... where does the year go?

Anyho, theres lots of art and photography to show you and as i wrote in the last journal a contest on the way.
Commenting on your work will start from tomorrow on new pieces of work. Older work will be ignored - sorry - but i can't sit through and comment on 1,679 pieces of art, unless you really want me to see something, link it to me and i'll comment on it.

hi ya all

after a horrendously busy xmas, i'm now back.

i know it's been a while since i've submitted any work or left comments, but now i'm more free to do what i want to do and i should be back into some sort of a routine soon.

i'll do my best to view all the work thats sitting there and leave comments, but ive got 258 to view, so sorry in advance if i don't comment on your work.

i'm hoping to get some new work up soon and i've got an idea for a contest... so watch this space.

from a very wet cornish holiday.

i've got lots of doodles to try and make into finished artwork. i may even post up a montage of some of them.

i've been working on a couple of different styles for some new characters, which i'll introduce to you soon.

theres also my first paid for commission feles i'm working on at the moment as well, and i'll hopefully have something to show you soon.

theres aslo a collaboration in the pipeline.

it's hopefully gonna be a highly fun, inspiring  and creative time for me and also there will be more art for you to view and comment on (always gratefully received)

when i first joined deviant art, i was going to post work every week, sadly i lapsed and never really got back into the swing of things. now i feel i'm ready to get back... maybe not every week, but more frequent than before.

on holiday for a week, so i'll comment/reply on your work when i get back.

the last couple of weeks have been hectic, work wise... grumble. but the worst should be over now and i should be able to get back to submitting some art... i know you can't wait!
